The mighty Col du Galibier has been on the Tour de France route 31 times so far, and despite only being a stage finish once, it's always an honor to be over the top first. At 2645m, it's often the highest point in the race and carries the prestigious Henri Desgrange prize. It's more than twice as high as Alpe d'Huez, but seems only half as famous. As you climb the absence of trees allows for spectacular views on this crystal-clear sunny day. The ErgVideo boys ride this one remarkably steadily, at least until the last few kilometres. It's great for sweet-spot steady state training, and we've packaged several ride variations from steady all the way, to a more dramatic power ramp-up as you near the top. It's a must-have in any climbing collection. (1:36hrs)
